About the Walk
Jane's Walk is a pedestrian-focused event that offers insights into local history, planning, design, and civic engagement through the simple act of walking and observing. The walks are given by local people who care passionately about where they live, work, and play.
There’s a lot happening in our downtown neighbourhood. We’ll look at the latest developments and updates to the Downtown Master Plan. Would Jane Jacobs approve?
This event will have multiple stops as we we learn about what's happening in the Flour Mill neighbourhood. This is more of a tour style walk.

Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Meeting place: 74 McKenzie Street - Main library branch parking area
Distance: 2-3 km
Difficulty: Easy - There will be multiple stops along the walk, as we learn about what's happening in the downtown area. This is more of a tour style walk.
Terrain: Sidewalks
Dress: Dress for early spring weather and make sure to wear a good pair of walking shoes
Parking: 74 McKenzie Street - Main library parking lot, or upper lot
