On October 18th, we will host our English Conversations on the Trails, welcoming all newcomers, those who speak English as a second language, and all trail users who want to help welcome new friends. Come join us on Friday to explore this section of the Junction Creek Waterway Park. 

Hike Details
When: Friday, October 18th 2024

Time: 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (Please arrive 15 minutes early)

Meeting Place:  Across the street from 1085 Kelly Lake Road

Trail Surface: Hard Pack
Length: 3-4 km 
Dress: Comfortable walking shoes, hat and water. Dress for the weather. We recommend bringing a headlamp or flashlight as sunset will be at 6:31 p.m.
Duration: 1.5 hours

GOVA transit route #14 at 4:15 p.m. from the downtown terminal, getting off at the Kelly Lake stop, which arrives at 4:35 p.m. 

Note: GOVA fare is $4.00. Exact change or a bus pass is required.

Pre-registration is required to participate in the hike. This ensures that you receive all last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the hike.


Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
