The City of Greater Sudbury owns the Rainbow Routes trail network and is responsible for operation and maintenance of the trails. If you see something of concern on a trail or to report a maintenance issue, contact the Parks Department via an email or call to 311.
Please note, trails are not maintained from November 1 - April 30, but they are available for use at own risk.

All members are welcome - including your pets! As per the City of Greater Sudbury By-laws, all pets must be kept on a leash while on the Rainbow Routes Association trail network.
Please remember to pick up after your pet and place in waste receptacles.

Be ready for potential encounters with wildlife, including bears. As you move through the trails, give animals warning and enough room to adjust to your presence by talking or making noise.

Being aware of proper trail etiquette can ensure a positive trail experience for everyone.
Respect the privacy of people living along trails.
What comes with you goes out - To protect the trails, stay on the trail and please don’t litter. Put garbage in bins or take it home.
Respect the sound of nature. Avoid noise such as mobile phones and radios.
Walk or cycle in single file to the right of a trail except for passing.
Bike riders yield to hikers. To pass, ring your bell and call out 'passing on your left'. Also ring your bell when approaching a blind section.
Avoid tree damage. Do not break branches or strip bark off trees.
Leave flowers, wood, rocks and plants in their rightful place for others to enjoy.
Take only pictures, leave only footprints.
