Nature Walks - Let’s explore and chat about the LU Green Space! September 10th 2024

  • Rainbow Routes Association Greater Sudbury Canada (map)

Explore and Discuss Lake Laurentian Greenspace with Rainbow Routes Association and Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury!

This hike is held in partnership with the Greater Sudbury Public Library.

Registering helps us organize and ensures you get last minute notifications such as cancellation due to extreme weather conditions or other changes. You will not receive a confirmation email immediately after registering, only the day before the hike.

Join us for a guided exploration and discussion through the beautiful Laurentian University Greenspace. Enjoy a hike along the trails, take in a breathtaking view, and make a special visit to the new LU Greenspace Experimental Peatland Restoration site.

What to Expect
Approximately 1.5 hours long, with some stopping and observing. The trail is mostly crusher dust, and there will be obstacles such as the occasional rock and tree roots, along with some elevation.

Our friendly staff will be there to guide the conversation and ensure everyone's voices are heard. Don't miss out on this opportunity to shape the future of our beloved greenspace!
