About the Hike
Rainbow Routes hike club invites you to a leisurely walk on the New Sudbury Historical Trail to start off February. Bring your lantern and flashlights for a fun night exploring themes of space and the beautiful northern skies.
Hike Details
When: Saturday March 1st, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (please arrive 15 minutes early at 1:45 PM)
Meeting place: Laurentian University's Ben Avery Complex (at the parking lot)
Parking: Municipal, On-Campus Parking (metered lot)
Trail: Laurentian University Greenspace Trial, moderate
Terrain: Natural surfaces, snow-covered
Length: 4 km
Dress: Comfortable hiking boots/winter boots, hat and water, dress for the weather. Weather and snow permitting, this will be a snowshoe hike, so comfortable hiking boots are recommended.

GOVA transit route #3 LU via. Regent at 1:00 PM from the Downtown Terminal, getting off at the Alphonse Raymond stop, arriving at 1:31 PM. Walk the sidewalk towards the NOSM building, then take a right towards the Ben Avery Complex. We will meet at the parking lot and then as a group make our way towards the LU Greenspace entrance.
