On Monday January 13th, we will host our English Conversations on the Trails, welcoming all newcomers, those who speak English as a second language, and all trail users who want to help welcome new friends. Come join us on Monday to explore the Rotary Park Trail. 

Hike Details
When: Monday, January 13th 2025

Time: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Please arrive 15 minutes early)

Meeting Place:  Adanac Ski Hill main entrance, 744 Beatrice Crescent

Trail Surface: Hard Pack, will be more than likely snow covered
Length: 3-4 km 
Dress: Comfortable walking shoes, hat and water. Dress for the weather. We recommend bringing a headlamp or flashlight as sunset will be at 5:02 p.m.
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours

GOVA transit route #2 at 4:15 PM from the Downtown Terminal, getting off at the Barrydowne & Westmount stop, which arrives at 4:25 PM. Walk down Westmount towards Adanac Ski Hill (19 mins.). 

Note: GOVA fare is $4.00. Exact change or a bus pass is required.

Pre-registration is required to participate in the hike. This ensures that you receive all last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the hike.


Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
